Common questions

Does the app need an account?

No. Civic Prism 250 has no login, membership profile, cloud sync, or public profile.

Why does an external source open in my browser?

Source Ledger links open only after a confirmation. The browser and destination have their own privacy practices; the app does not receive the browsing result.

Where are my workshop answers?

Workshop choices and score are temporary on-device UI feedback that Android may restore after an activity recreation. They are not sent, do not form a political profile, and the app never asks for a political view or discussion response.

How do I delete local app data?

Use Display Choices → Reset local preferences, Android Settings → Apps → Civic Prism 250 → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. No server-side app account or cloud data exists.

Can the app tell me a voting deadline or legal requirement?

No. Use the responsible authority's current official source for live election information, public notices, deadlines, ballots, registration, results, or jurisdiction-specific legal procedure.

Accessibility

The app includes a text-based alternative beneath the prism dial, a Larger Type option, a Reduce Motion preference, labeled controls, high-contrast structure, and screen-reader descriptions for meaningful imagery. Send accessibility feedback to the support address.

Troubleshooting

  1. Confirm the app is version 1.0.0 or later.
  2. Close and reopen the app if temporary screen state behaves unexpectedly.
  3. Reset the current workshop or clock from its screen.
  4. If needed, clear app storage and reopen. This removes local display preferences.
  5. Contact support with the device model, Android version, app version, screen, and observed behavior.
